Rebuilt with a fresh and resilient, hand-crafted new soundboard. Compare to pianos rebuilt elsewhere in which lifeless and brittle, (so-called original) old soundboards have been retained. This Steinway Model L grand piano was meticulously rebuilt by Faust Harrison Pianos in 2025, returning a golden-era instrument from 1933 to exceptional musical and visual condition. It delivers a full, colorful voice with impressive depth and power, offering a broad palette well suited to expressive playing. Its touch is medium to slightly heavier, yet remains highly responsive, providing excellent control and clarity under the fingers. Restoration work included a new soundboard, strings, action, keytops, tuning pins, dampers, and a fully rebronzed plate, ensuring lasting performance and reliability. With a brand-new, high gloss polished ebony finish to its cabinet, this Steinway Model L stands as a perfect example of why expertly restored vintage instruments are so highly sought after.
